I didn’t axe Miller from ‘Robin Hood’, says Crowe

Hollywood star Rusell Crowe has spoken out about Sienna Miller’s dismissal from his new movie ‘Robin Hood’, insisting he had nothing to do with the decision, as was earlier reported.
Miller was originally signed on to play Maid Marian in the Ridley Scott venture, but she mysteriously left the project last year amid rumours she had been dropped because she was too young to play 45-year-old Crowe’s love interest.
Cate Blanchett, 40, was later drafted in to take her place in the film, which is due for release later this year and now Crowe insists he played no part in axing Miller, while defending Blanchett’s performance in the upcoming film, reports imdb.com.
‘It wasn’t my call, actually, it’s more that I’m too old and fat! But Cate brings something else. The way we changed the character, we needed somebody who was going to be resilient. And Cate is superb in this film. She was excellent to work with and a great partner in crime,’ he said.

The beauty of Shahrukh Khan’s walls

According to some buzz, Shahrukh Khan’s office, that is, the special effects studio in Andheri where his next film, Ra1’s SFX will be done has some beautiful adorning on its walls.
One of the walls has a lovely collage of SRK with his friends, Karan Johar and Farah Khan. It also has some pictures of his with his co-stars Kajol, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, etc. and some with his unit members. SRK has made it very clear that he doesn’t want the collage becoming public because of which he doesn’t allow anyone to take pictures of it. Apparently, he’s painstakingly put the pictures together and the collage was his idea to begin with. Well, he has put a lot of effort into it; we wouldn’t want to spoil it, would we?
